Dan Press practices primarily commercial and business litigation and arbitration, including intellectual property, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, construction law, international law and business matters, and internet and computer law. Dan has extensive litigation experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country.

Dan has served as a member of the International Trade Task Force of the White House Conference on Small Business and is a member of the Federal Bar Association's Democracy Development Initiative legal talent bank. He is the author of Contract Claims Arising from FIRREA's Goodwill Provisions, 7 Review of Banking & Financial Services 209 (Dec. 18, 1991).

Dan graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biology, and received his law degree magna cum laude from the Georgetown University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Journal. He was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jaime Pieras, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and is a member of the bars of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the D.C., Federal and Fourth Circuits, the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Districts of Puerto Rico, Maryland, the District of Columbia, the Northern District of California, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, and the Court of Federal Claims.
